Chairperson Wang Ping Met Mr. Guo Guangchang

Founder and Chairperson of YouChange Wang Ping had a cordial meeting in Shanghai with Mr. Guo Guangchang, member of the board of YouChange and President of the Fosun Group. Chairperson Wang briefed Mr. Guo of the principles and practices of new philanthropy and in particular YouChange Micro-financing project. YouChange Secretary General Gan Dongyu and Head of Social Innovation Center Qiu Qingqing also outlined YouChange’s drought relief efforts in southwest China, disaster relief operations in Yushu and investment fund for social innovation. Mr. Guo, as member of the board of YouChange, gave a brief overview of Fosun’s perceptions of corporate social responsibility and its priorities and objectives in philanthropy. Mr. Guo also said while fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, Fosun would act promptly in time of disaster and coordinate internal and external resources in order to do concrete things for disaster relief. In the end, Mr. Guo said Fosun would actively participate in the development of YouChange Micro-financing Support Platform.
